January Juicy Body Tip: Creating your Intentions From Your Body!
Posted by: | CommentsTake one intention that you have for 2009 and bring it clearly into your consciousness. Now take some time and space, and feel into your body. Breathe and become aware of your body sensations and feelings. As you bring your intention into your body, what do you notice? Do you feel openness and flow, and that “feel good” feeling? This is a good sign that you have a great fit! Go for it! Do you feel contraction, tightness, agitation? If so, you might want to reconsider your intention, and go for something that feels better in your body. Sometimes we “think” an intention is a fit for us, but if the body doesn’t align, then we are setting ourselves up for a less than fulfilling experience & more struggle. Go for the intention that feels good in mind AND body!
As you work with this one intention know that it is opening the pathways for the rest to follow. Consider working with those next! As you do, you will align your life with a much higher level of flow. You deserve it!
Happy New Year!
Setting Your Intentions… A NEW Paradigm
Posted by: | CommentsThis is the usual time of year to think about and contemplate our intentions and set goals for the new year. As you feel into your higher purpose and your direction for 2009, I encourage you to include your body. As you think, write, draw, or dance your intentions, allow the feelings to come through your body. In other words, don’t just let the intentions come from your mind but allow the body to be involved. What do I mean by this?
Well, when I write down or think about what it is I want to move towards this year, I check in with how it resonates in my BODY. I feel into what my intentions, ideal scenes and focus are for 2009. I bring my awareness into my body and then feel into what it has to say. I have parts of me that “think” they know what I want, or what’s best for me, or what I should want… so I allow myself to bring what I’ve come up with INTO my body and I get direct feedback about what is and is not actually in aligment for me. I get the TRUTH from my body, to the best of my ability to discern it. For example, when I feel into an idea or intention, does my body feel spacious? Or does it contract? Do I feel pleasure? Or agitation? Do I get a specific image with some useful information for me? etc…
